Beach House
Complete renovation and substantial expansion of existing waterfront home. Prominent design features include a lighthouse-like structure fabricated from marine grade aluminum alloy, accessed by an aluminum, cantilevered, helical stairway. Other unusual construction details include heavy timber framing assembled with wood trunions, steel rivets, and aluminum strapping. Services included design of a whole-house, reverse-osmosis, domestic water treatment system and a lightening protection system.
